My tattoo is pretty simple. It is on my left forearm (my right already had ink). It is the compass and square inside of a Firefighter Cross. The colors of the cross represent the colors of the N.F.P.A. Hazardous Materials Diamond. I am a firefighter and HazMat Technician. The rope that forms the circle signifies my knowledge of ropes and rope rescue. I wanted it to look under my skin to show that these are things that are more than just something I do. They are who I am. Part of me and rooted deep in me.
