How to meet somebody is always a question. We in Freemasonry have no better an answer to that however than anybody else. You meet at work, out walking your dog, at a sports event, sitting next to each other at a restaurant, by being introduced by friends or whatever.

I think you have very much the wrong idea about Freemasonry. Membership brings no financial or social 'freebies'. Indeed, being a member brings what some might consider a burden of proper behavior.
