Thank you for this question. The manner in which we carry ourselves and the impression that we make is something that we do not consider carefully or frequently enough. I say this not only as a Freemason, but as a man in general. We should continually strive to become that which we hope to be, and so should carry ourselves in a manner that depicts the person we are becoming.
Freemasonry is a noble and dignified profession. Its tenets and teachings are intended to attract good men who wish to become better men. We should constantly and continually strive to improve ourselves, and in so doing to improve the world around us. A Freemasons greatest reward, however, is in helping others and serving our fellow creatures. So, my opinion is that we should carry ourselves in the dignified manner of one who's only desire is to help, aid and assist.
Thanks again for the question. Fraternally,
Tim
