First off, very sorry for the long delay. The owner of this site, Tim, has been having some serious family problems.
In answer to your question, there are no material benefits. On the other hand, you have the benefit of being his granddaughter, which is undoubtedly pretty nice.

What "benifits" could you possibly be looking for?
The thought that you benefit in ANY WAY other than PRIDE from your Grandfather or anything HE did in his life is offensive and childish to me!

While I personally appreciate your thought, I think it’s a valid question. People know so little about the Craft and there are so many rumours. Moreover, ‘benefits’ need not be limited to things financial.

I am not looking for any so called "benefits". I would simply like to know some future info for our son's,
My husband's Grandfather and Father,(not to sure on the father),we're masonites.
Before our boys where born both Grandfathers had passed.
Now not knowing their Grandfathers and there standings with the Masonry could our sons still become a member of the "secret society" in the future if they like?
Thank you for taking the time to read my question and a future thank you for your answer.
