First of all, please accept my sincere thanks for visiting MASONSMART.COM. This Web site is a labor of love and your being here confirms that the labor has been worthwhile.
My name is Tim. While I have only one head, I do wear many hats here on MASONSMART. I am the primary Webmaster, researcher, author, editor, janitor and general handyman. Most of the articles are written by me. Your questions and comments will come to me and, unless otherwise attributed or from our old friend "Anonymous," answers and replies will come from me. Every effort is made to attribute the works of others to their respective author or creator.
My Masonic career began in 1998 when I was obligated and raised as a Master Mason in Salida Lodge No. 57 A.F. & A.M., Salida, Colorado, USA. Since that time I have also come to enjoy membership in Gate of the Temple Lodge No. 422 A.F. & A.M. in Springfield, Missouri, and in Friend Lodge No. 352 A.F. & A.M. in Ozark, Missouri, of which I have the honor of being a Past Master. And, I am most recently a member of Newport Lodge No. 85 A.F. & A.M. in Newport, Oregon.
I currently hold the rank of 32nd Degree Knight Commander Court of Honor of the Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite for the Southern Jurisdiction of the United States of America, Orient of Missouri, Valley of Joplin.
I am a Companion of Springfield Chapter No. 15 Royal Arch Masons, Zabud Council No. 25 Cryptic Masons, and Sir Knight of St. John's Commandery No. 20 Knights Templar of the York Rite of Freemasonry. And, I have been further honored and accepted to membership in Ray V. Denslow York Rite College No. 180, Ozark Council No. 240 of the Allied Masonic Degrees, and Saint Christopher Conclave of the Red Cross of Constantine.
I am a Noble of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine located in Springfield, Missouri.
I am past Region 'F' Grand Lecturer and Masonic Education Committee Chair of the Grand Lodge of Missouri A.F. & A.M., and a proud member of the Missouri Lodge of Research as well as the Scottish Rite Research Society. But enough about me.
The statements and opinions expressed on the pages of MASONSMART are my own or those of their respective authors. They are not and should not be construed to be the official stance or opinion of any Masonic Grand Lodge, or for that matter of any other Freemason. My statements and opinions are based on my years of study on the topic of Freemasonry and experience in the Masonic fraternity. However, as they say, your mileage may vary.
I welcome your questions, comments, suggestions, and contributions to the site. New information is added frequently so please come back and visit again.
