Greetings Brother,

In the infinite wisdom of our supreme architect one of our Brothers has been called home. Brother Pete Christodoulou was relieved of the working tools of life on Monday, April 25, 2011.

A special gathering of friends and family will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 with a Masonic service beginning at 7:00 p.m. in J.D. Lee and Sons Funeral Home, Rogersville, Missouri. Pete's family has asked that his friends and Brothers be invited to express their feelings or reminisce about Pete during the service.

The family requests memorial donations be made to a the E. Diane Christodoulou Memorial Scholarship (for students with learning disabilities) through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, 425 E. Trafficway, Springfield, 65806.

Also on Friday, April 29, 2011: Ava Lodge No. 26 will meet in Special Communication for work in the 3rd Degree of Freemasonry. One candidate will be presented for the sublime degree of Master Mason. Lodge will be duly Opened at 6:00 PM. All Master Masons are invited in.

Saturday, April 30, 2011: Henderson Lodge No. 477, 127 East Center in Rogersville, MO, will meet in Special Communication for work in the 3rd Degree of Freemasonry. Brother Austin Garrett Rokusek, grandson of RWB Huey Higgins, will return his 2nd Degree Proficiency and be presented for advancement to the sublime degree of Master Mason. Dinner will be ready at 6:00 and Lodge will be duly Opened at 7:00 PM.
The degree will be conferred by the ritual team of 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Masons.
RWB Huey is understandably proud of his grandson and invites all regular Master Masons to come and share in this special evening.

Thursday, April 28, 2011: Billings Lodge No. 453 will meet in Special Communication for work in the 2nd Degree of Freemasonry. Brother Eric Reuschhoff will be presented for the degree of Fellow Craft. Dinner at 6:15 and Lodge will be duly Opened at 7:00 PM.

Friday & Saturday, May 6 & 7, 2011: The York Rite Spring Festival will begin on Friday evening and carry through on Saturday morning. If you are not yet a York Rite Mason you are missing out on an excellent experience and more Masonic light. Contact any York Rite Mason for more information. If you don't know a York Rite member, just ask around. We're everywhere.

Saturday, May 7, 2011: Branson Lodge No. 587 will host its 4th Annual Bowling Marathon beginning at 6:00 PM at Dogwood Lanes in Branson, MO. Team Sponsorship is just $300 for a four person team. Corporate Sponsorship is only $200, and individuals can bowl for just $75. Entry includes T-shirts with a sponsorship logo for bowlers, and there will be doorprizes througout the marathon. Saturday, May 21, 2011: There will be a Chance-to-Advance (C2A) today at the Gate of the Temple Lodge building located at 1700 North Boonville in Springfield, MO. This C2A will be hosted by Solomon Lodge No. 271. This is a great opportunity for Masonic education and all Master Masons are encouraged to attend and participate in bringing our younger Brethren to more Light.
