Masonic News & Views -- Gone Fishing

In the normal ebb and flow of life opportunity knocks softly, and if its knock goes unanswered it simply moves on. But, occasionally it stops at your door, pounds on it insistently and refuses to go away until you answer its call. This week is one of those times.
All is well at the CowChows. We're just taking a little trip down a rabbit hole and will return soon. In the meantime, laugh long, love well, and live life fully.

Tuesday, April 19, 2011: Billings Lodge No. 379 will meet in Special Communication for work in the 1st Degree of Freemasonry. Shane Dean Ribbing and Ryan Stephen Stoops will be presented for initiation into the Mysteries of Freemasonry. A snack will be served at 6:00 PM and the Lodge will be duly Opened at 7:00 PM. Your attendance and participation is always appreciated.
Tuesday, April 19, 2011: Solomon Lodge No. 271 will meet in Special Communication for work in the 1st Degree of Freemasonry. Four duly elected candidates will be presented for the degree of Entered Apprentice. Lodge will be duly Opened at 6:00 PM and there will be refreshments following the work.
Monday, April 25, 2011: Gate of the Temple Lodge No. 422 will meet in Special Communication for work in the 1st degree of Freemasonry. Lodge will be duly Opened at 6:00 PM and there will be nourishment following the work.
Friday & Saturday, May 6 & 7, 2011: The York Rite Spring Festival will begin on Friday evening and carry through on Saturday morning. If you are not yet a York Rite Mason you are missing out on an excellent experience and more Masonic light. Contact any York Rite Mason for more information. If you don't know a York Rite member, just ask around. We're everywhere.
Saturday, May 21, 2011: There will be a Chance-to-Advance (C2A) today at the Gate of the Temple Lodge building located at 1700 North Boonville in Springfield, MO. This C2A will be hosted by Solomon Lodge No. 271. This is a great opportunity for Masonic education and all Master Masons are encouraged to attend and participate in bringing our younger Brethren to more Light.
The Scottish Rite Valley of Joplin needs your help in preserving our beautiful Scottish Rite Cathedral. And, in helping preserve this piece of American history you could win a brand new Chevy Camaro.
